Space Black models show scuffs less, but dents on the lid corners from drops can distort the hinge area and stress the display.

Can you recover data from my MacBook Pro 14-inch (M3 Pro / M3 Max, 2023)?
Your files live on storage chips on the logic board and are encrypted by Apple silicon. Swapping the board erases them for good, so if it won’t power on, ask us about board-level repair before anything is replaced.
Is it worth repairing my MacBook Pro 14-inch (M3 Pro / M3 Max, 2023)?
Yes, in almost every case. As an Apple silicon Mac it is fully supported by macOS 27, so fixing it is usually far cheaper than replacing it.
