Can you recover data from my MacBook 12-inch (2017)?
The storage is soldered to the logic board, so it cannot be removed and read in another machine. If the Mac won’t start, we repair the board to bring it back to life long enough to copy your files off safely.

Apple’s support for it ends at macOS 13 Ventura. Smaller repairs are good value; for a major board fault we will explain whether repairing or replacing makes more sense for you.
