Almost identical to the 2018 Air, so the same keyboard and battery issues apply. Liquid damage tends to be severe because the board sits right under the keyboard.

Can you recover data from my MacBook Air Retina 13-inch (2019)?
The SSD is soldered to the board and encrypted by Apple’s T2 security chip, so the data is tied to that exact logic board. If the Mac is dead, the way to get your files back is to repair the board and boot it.
